The 2027 Cadillac Lyriq is a five-seat luxury electric SUV built around a 102 kWh battery pack and a curved 33-inch display that spans the dashboard. In the United States, Cadillac prices the 2027 Luxury rear-wheel-drive version from $59,400 before destination, with an EPA-estimated 326 miles (525 km) of range. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions make 515 hp, and the performance-focused Lyriq-V reaches 615 hp. The 2027 model year adds a native NACS charge port plus new exterior and interior colors. Cadillac's Israeli importer, UMI, sells the Lyriq in one dual-motor AWD Luxury configuration at a list price of ₪649,990, down from ₪679,990 when it launched in March 2025, and it was the first of Cadillac's electric models to reach the Israeli showroom. Above it in the brand's line-up sit the three-row Vistiq and the Escalade IQ flagship, and below it is the compact Optiq, which is Cadillac's entry-level EV.
Performance & Specs
The Lyriq comes in three states of tune. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive version produces 365 hp (272 kW) and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque. The dual-motor AWD version, which is the one Israel receives, produces 515 hp (384 kW) and 450 lb-ft (610 Nm); Cadillac's Israeli site quotes 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds for it. At the top of the range the Lyriq-V delivers 615 hp (459 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm), and Cadillac estimates 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds in its Velocity Max mode, which makes it the quickest Cadillac ever, according to the brand. The power and torque figures are Cadillac estimates based on GM testing. Suspension is a 5-link independent layout at both ends with passive dampers on the regular Lyriq, while the V-Series adds adaptive dampers, Brembo front brakes and launch control. Cadillac's 2027 specification page lists a towing capacity of 3,500 lb (1,587 kg) for both the rear-drive and the AWD Lyriq, although its 2026 pressroom sheet showed a rating for the AWD version only, so check the rating for the exact car.

Cargo space is 793 litres (28.0 cubic feet) behind the rear seat and 1,722 litres (60.8 cubic feet) with the seatbacks folded, and the Israeli importer's spec sheet lists the same two figures. The base curb weight is 2,543 kg for the rear-drive version and 2,648 kg for the AWD version, which is a heavy figure that reflects the large battery. Standard wheels are 20-inch, with 22-inch wheels available in the United States, while the Israeli importer's spec sheet lists 21-inch wheels with 275/45R21 tyres for the AWD Luxury.

Charging & Battery
The Lyriq uses GM's EV battery platform with a 102 kWh rated pack and lithium-ion NCMA cell chemistry. Cadillac does not publish a usable-capacity figure, so treat 102 kWh as the headline rated (gross) number: for the European-market Lyriq-V, Electrive reports 102 kWh gross and 91 kWh net, while independent spec databases list roughly 100 kWh usable. The car's own maximum DC charging rate is 190 kW, which Cadillac says adds up to 86 miles (about 138 km) of range in roughly 10 minutes on the rear-drive model, and a 10-80% charge takes about 40 minutes. At home, the standard onboard charger is 11.5 kW, which adds about 31 miles of range per hour on a 240 V circuit, and a 19.2 kW charger is optional, adding up to 50 miles per hour on the rear-drive car. The 19.2 kW option lowers the AWD range rating from 319 to 303 miles. Cars sold in the United States for the 2027 model year carry a native NACS port, and Cadillac cites access to more than 29,000 Superchargers through the myCadillac app. Which connector the Israeli-market car uses is not stated on the importer's pages, so it is left out here.
| BATTERY | 102 kWh rated energy, NCMA lithium-ion |
|---|---|
| AC CHARGING | 11.5 kW standard, 19.2 kW optional |
| DC FAST CHARGING | up to 190 kW (vehicle maximum) |
| DC 10-80% TIME | ~40 min |
Design & Interior
The Lyriq's exterior is dominated by a lit black-crystal grille with an illuminated Cadillac crest, vertical LED headlamps and choreographed exterior lighting that illuminates as the driver approaches and leaves. Power-presenting door handles and a fixed SkyGlass glass roof with a power shade complete the look, and Cadillac's 126-color Radiance Lighting accents the cabin. The 2027 model year adds Cashmere and Blue Graphite Tricoat paint, plus a Midnight Stone Frost shade limited to the V-Series. Inside, the cabin is built around the curved 33-inch display that replaces separate instrument and centre screens, with a rotary controller on the console. Higher trims add ventilated and massaging front seats and a 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system with optional Dolby Atmos, while the Israeli importer describes its Luxury car with Napa leather seats that are heated, ventilated and massaging, a 19-speaker AKG system and a wireless phone charging pad. Rear legroom of 39.6 inches is workable rather than limousine-like, and the glass roof lets light into the second row.
Technology & Features
The 33-inch display is the Lyriq's signature feature, with 9K resolution, and it runs Google built-in services, so navigation and voice commands come from Google Maps and Assistant rather than a proprietary system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, a point the Israeli importer confirms for its cars. The Lyriq-V adds a dual-plane augmented-reality head-up display, V-Series seating and a performance steering wheel. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is standard on the 2027 Lyriq in the United States and comes with a three-year OnStar One plan, after which a subscription is required; the Israeli listings do not mention Super Cruise, so it should be treated as a North American feature unless the importer says otherwise.
Safety & ADAS
The Israeli importer's spec sheet lists a broad driver-assistance set on the Lyriq AWD Luxury: automatic emergency braking that detects pedestrians and cyclists, adaptive cruise control, active lane-keeping, blind-spot monitoring, automatic braking when reversing, emergency braking for crossing traffic at junctions, driver-attention monitoring, adaptive lighting with automatic high beams, a door-opening warning, a rear-seat reminder, a 360-degree parking camera and eight airbags. In North America, Super Cruise sits on top of that suite as a hands-free system for compatible highways. We did not find a Euro NCAP result for the Lyriq, so we do not quote a crash-test rating here.
| ADAS LEVEL | L2 (Super Cruise hands-free on compatible North American roads) |

| ADAS FEATURES | AEB (pedestrian and cyclist), ACC, LKA, BSM, automatic braking in reverse, 360° camera, driver-attention monitoring, 8 airbags |
Available Versions

The table shows the three distinct powertrains. US prices are 2027 MSRPs before destination; the Israeli car matches the AWD row.

Pricing & Availability
In the United States, Cadillac lists the 2027 Lyriq from $59,400 for the Luxury, $63,400 for the Premium Luxury and $66,800 for the Signature Luxury in rear-drive form, with the Lyriq-V from $78,700, all before destination. Launch coverage from GM Authority and Electrek quotes combined prices of $61,195 for the Luxury and $80,495 for the Lyriq-V once the $1,795 destination charge is added, and AWD adds $3,500 on the non-V trims. In Israel, UMI's own price list on cadillac.co.il, checked on 6 October 2026, shows a single Lyriq Luxury AWD at ₪649,990 including VAT plus a ₪5,499 registration fee, or ₪655,489 in total. That is ₪30,000 below the ₪679,990 launch price announced on 9 March 2025. UMI also runs national sale weeks, and one in April 2026 offered a Lyriq Luxury 3 at ₪544,990 including registration, so the price a buyer actually pays can sit well below the list figure; that offer ended on 30 April 2026. Cadillac also sells the Lyriq in Canada and in Germany, Switzerland and France, where Electrive reported that first Lyriq-V customer deliveries were planned from November 2025. The importer's page labels the Israeli car a 2025 model, so the Israeli specification follows the dual-motor AWD car rather than the 2027 US model-year update. Cadillac's other electric models are also priced on the importer's list: the Optiq at ₪479,990 in Luxury form and ₪499,991 in Platinum, and the Vistiq Premium Luxury AWD at ₪679,990, each plus the same ₪5,499 fee. In the United States the Optiq starts from $49,995, which makes it the brand's entry point.
How It Compares
Our own catalog has no like-for-like rival for this Cadillac, so this is a comparison with two relevant models rather than a cross-shop. The Vistiq is Cadillac's three-row sibling: for 2027 it starts at $77,500, about $18,100 more than the Lyriq Luxury RWD, with 615 hp (Cadillac-estimated in Velocity Max mode) and 305 miles (491 km) of EPA range. The Lexus TZ is a three-row electric SUV; in Premium Touring form it is priced from $72,050 and is rated at 308 hp and 315 miles (507 km) of EPA range, which is far less power than the Lyriq AWD's 515 hp for a similar range. What the Cadillac offers instead is a 102 kWh pack with a 190 kW charging ceiling and a well-equipped cabin with a 33-inch display and hands-free driving aids in North America. In Israel, local press has named the BMW iX and the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV as the Lyriq's rivals, and at its ₪679,990 launch price iCar described it as cheaper than the Mercedes and dearer than the BMW. For buyers who want more space, the Escalade IQ sits above it from $130,300, Cadillac's quoted starting MSRP for the 2026 Luxury in the United States.
- Up to 326 miles (525 km) of EPA range from a 102 kWh pack in rear-drive form
- Three clear power levels from 365 hp to 615 hp, with a 3,500 lb (1,587 kg) tow rating
- Large 33-inch 9K curved display with Google built-in and a well-equipped cabin
- Israeli list price is ₪649,990 for a single AWD trim, with no cheaper rear-drive option
- AWD cars lose some range (319 miles) and the Lyriq-V drops to 285 miles, and a 190 kW charging ceiling is respectable rather than class-leading
The Lyriq is a good luxury electric SUV that gets the fundamentals right: a big 102 kWh battery, a rear-drive version rated at 326 miles, an AWD version with 515 hp, and a V-Series model that reaches 615 hp. In the United States it starts at $59,400. In Israel the entry price is higher at ₪649,990 for a single AWD trim, so a buyer should check what UMI's sale weeks do to that figure before signing. It is worth a test drive for anyone who wants a quiet, spacious and technology-rich American EV and is not chasing the lowest price per kilowatt-hour.
